Kudzu
Kudzu is a well known Japanese vine. Famed for its’ fast-growing and invasive tendencies, it’s considered a weed in some areas of the United States and has been so destructive to some environments that the Department of Agriculture has carried out several experiments to control and reduce the expansion of the plant.
What you may not know however is how kudzu can be used to help control the urge to drink alcohol, and as such can be a highly effective way to curb alcoholic intake during a diet. Research is still being undertaken by the Harvard Medical School, however it is apparent that extract of the herb in a condensed form inhibits the desire to drink, possibly through temporarily effecting the please derived from alcoholic consumption.
Alcohol is known to have a strong impact on cellulite formation through the constriction of blood supply in the cellulite areas resulting in the reduction of oxygen and nutrients to the skin tissue and accelerating the reduction in elasticity that is essential to contain fatty deposits. In addition alcohol causes acceleration in free radical aging, further deteriorating the appearance of the skin surface and contribution to worse cellulite.
Thus for anyone with a desire to reduce their cellulite, both directly through improved skin tone and indirectly though dieting by reducing calorie intake and their fatty deposits, kudzu may be an effective way to assist in cutting down alcohol.
