Power Plate Exercises Beat Cellulite?

Power Plates aren’t a recent innovation, but they can be a really useful inclusion in a gym-goers anti-cellulite routine and have the added benefit of not being too stressful on the body. Found in most gyms around the country, a solid power plate workout can have a multiplying effect on your usual cellulite exercise routine, rapidly increasing the results that you would see from a typical fitness and toning regime.

The Power Plate is a specialised vibrating gym machine that. The user stands on the machine and carries out a series of specialist power plate exercises to work and tone the muscles and the vibration of the power plate causes the muscles to rapidly contract and relax. Carrying out the exercises normally would result in four expansion-contraction repetitions per second, on the power plate this can become fifty per second! In a typical ten minute session this effect can be highly beneficial to the user, causing much more rapid muscle toning than usual.

When starting on the power plate, begin slowly with low frequency vibrations. It takes some getting used to, but you can quickly improve the resistance and scale the workout. For cellulite exercises, focus on toning the areas where you suffer most, which is likely the thighs, hips and bottom. A full video of exercise ideas can be viewed here:
